A big thank you to those that made it to BrunswikSt.'s first meet up at Altstadt Bierhalle & Brathaus pub in Pioneer Square last night! It was a great evening and there will be many more to come.
We also wanted to thank everyone for donating to the "BrunswikSt. Bucket!". The bucket will be at every event and will go to a designated charity of the evening. Last night's charity was the ALS and we asked everyone to put away the buckets of ice water and pull out a donation instead. We were able to raise over $100 and the money will go to a good friend of Jen's, Iyda Kelati, and her fundraising efforts for her upcoming Walk to Defeat ALS that is happening in LA on October 19th! She and her family lost their mother to ASL 5 years ago, so it was a cause close to our hearts.
The Altstadt pub also went above and beyond and gave us a discount on our tab that went straight into the bucket!! They are amazing and we highly recommend you pop in when you are in the area for a stein and great company.
